The events for October 2024 are the launch of our annual prayer concerts for the Roseland Community. We believe in the power of prayer in its ability to activate and fulfill God's will for the church and the community. Please join us either by visiting us on Sunday morning or by contacting us on our contact page for the prayers that we will be praying during these outings.

Teamwork CEF and BHOP
Teamwork works. BHOP IS working with CEF this year again as a source of support in serving the children in the Roseland community in the capacity of a Good News Club (GNC) which will be an after-school activity,
CEF has been a prominent supportive partner of BHOP with the provisions of their training and materials which have been proven to effectively communicate Biblical principles to the needs of children. BHOP volunteers are especially appreciative to CEF Southside Coordinator, Marvella Black and Jonathan King, Chicagoland CEF Coordinator, who have provided free training to our volunteers. During these sessions, three BHOP members learned how to share the gospel in a simple yet powerful way with children from Pre-K to 8th grade.
Our team looks forward to working at our local school(s) with the GNC program beginning in November 2024. We also hope to supplement the GNC program with a Trauma Healing presentation to Roseland children this year as well.
